NFPA 1006: Ice Water Rescue Awareness/Operations

Description

This course has a 2 and 3 day option comprising both theoretical and practical skills.  Course learning outcomes meet the requirements of NFPA 1006 Ice Water Rescue and provide the necessary skills and JPR profile to safely and effectively conduct a rescue at the operations level.  The course is designed for emergency responders and those pursuing a career in emergency services, as well as services requiring specific water rescue training.

• Content Includes: Ice Water Awareness, conditions and hazards, Rescue and Survival equipment instructional, rescue skills and techniques, operational scenario training
• All Rescue PPE is provided
